It’s been another magical week of peeking into windows. I’ve enjoyed gazing through the glass, (or computer screen) at your creative pieces. Each post to the wall has let in some light, given us landscapes, lives and perspective, and most of all, an insight into your world. Thank you for taking us on this journey. 

With the announcement of the closure of the 52 week Challenge, after 4 successful years running, it has also been an emotional week.  Your contributions have been an integral part of this creative journey, and we would like to thank you for that. It is sad to see this challenge close.

Matt's Picks - Week 48: Africa

I'd love to go to Africa someday. The animals, people and culture fascinate me, and the whole continent seems to radiate a beautiful 'otherness' that I hope it never loses.

My approach to choosing the images for this week was to simply look at the photo page where you can see all the images submitted, but not who submitted them. Those that I've picked connected to me in a way that was deeper than "that's a nice picture".

Penelope's Picks Week 46: Pencil

I love pencils. The weight of them, the way they sharpen, the fact that we all have our favourite.  They remind me everyday that it's what's inside that counts. They are full of promise of what's to come and when paired with an eraser, can make your troubles disappear. They make what is unknown to the rest of the world visible and YOU do that my friends. Every time you make a mark you are telling the world a part of your story. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful stories on the Challenge wall this week.
